For the First Time, PM Modi to be the Chief Guest at AMU Event on Varsity's Centenary Celebrations

For the first time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the virtual programme of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) on its centenary celebrations. According to the official statement, the PM will be the chief guest at the event on December 22.

Modi will attend the online function along with Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, it said. Extending his gratitude to the PM, AMU Vice Chancellor Professor Tariq Mansoor said the AMU community is thankful for his acceptance to participate in the celebrations marking 100 years of the university.
