Ludhiana: The school organised virtual “Aryabhatta Ganit Challenge” for students of Classes VIII to X under the aegis of the CBSE-Centre of Excellence to generate interest of students in mathematics. To reach out to maximum students across the country, this year the Central Board of Secondary Education hosted the challenge on the DIKSHA platform. Teachers gave important guidelines to the students. They guided the students to enter their correct names in the DIKSHA profile while accessing the website to receive certificates with their correct names. Before attempting the challenge, the students enthusiastically accessed the various modules of the course such as introduction to the course, video on algebra and reading material on mathematician Srinivas Ramanjun. After completion of the said modules, the students registered for free on the DIKSHA platform by clicking on the Register here button, then reached the Aryabhata Ganit Challenge 2020 and joined the course. The said test assessed application of mathematics in daily life, change and relationships, space and shape, quantity, uncertainty and data, joy of mathematics learning covering questions from puzzles, history of mathematics and current affairs in Mathematics..

The 12th edition of WIZTECH 2020, a two-day event was organised by the. Around 400 students from all over the country participated in the mega event virtually. In his inaugural speech, Anirudh Gupta, CEO, DCM Groups, addressed the guests, judges, teachers, and students from the participating schools. He emphasised the use of technology in the existing scenario of a global pandemic. Head e-Initiatives Sunaina Kapoor said students showcased their talents in different categories of the techno-festival. Abeer Uppal and Karan Pratap Singh bagged the first position in AI design thinking, Kashish Jain in PowerPoint presentation and Ridhi Gujral in declamation. Jasdev Singh got Second position in photoshop, Prabhnoor Kaur got third position in web tales, Harpreet Singh in play that and Vanshika Rikhi in debate.

The educational branch of Rajgadh Estates Management on Monday held a meeting with the school staff and discussed the school development pPlan.
