Karnataka reports 1,185 new cases of COVID-19

Bengaluru, Dec 15(UNI) Karnataka reported 1,185 fresh cases of COVID-19 taking the total number of people infected with the pandemic in the state to 9,03,425 on Tuesday.
According to official sources as many as 11 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours taking the total number of fatalities in the state due to COVID-19 to 11,965.
The number of COVID-19 patients, who got discharged from various hospitals on Tuesday, after making a complete recovery from the disease accounted for 1,594 and as many as 15,645 active cases remained in the state as of Tuesday.
The sources said that as many as 89,530 persons had undergone COVID-19 tests in the last 24-hours including that of 15,270 of the Antigen Detection Test.
