New Delhi, December 14th, 2020 (GPN): Veteran martial arts expert, Gurgaon-based Yashpal Kalsi has been appointed as the Event Commissioner of the Matrix Fight Night MFN5 event sanctioned by GAMMAF (Global Authority for Mixed Martial Arts Federations) headed by Daniel Isaac from USA.
MFN 5 is scheduled to be held on December 15, 2020 at the Como Garden, Palazzo Versace Hotel, Dubai.
Yashpal Kalsi has a vast experience in martial arts overseeing large championships and building world-class sporting events, and will be working in this event with 16 of the best MMA fighters from India. The fight card will have 8 bouts featuring names such as Pavan Mann, Sandeep Dahiya, Angad Bisht and Sumeet Khade. Matrix Fight Night is the brainchild of Tiger Shroff, Ayesha Shroff and Krishna Shroff.
As Event Commissioner, the much respected Yashpal Kalsi will enforce and supervise all the policies of sport, health and safety for the fighters within a sporting bubble. He was previously event commissioner with the prestigious Super Fight League as well. 42-year-old Yashpal Kalsi is a Black Belt 7th Dan (Karate) and has had a highly accomplished professional career in martial arts over 30 years of competing as an individual and over 25 years a coach during which he has coached several international champions.
This announcement comes on the back of Yashpal Singh Kalsi’s recent appointment as the new Sports Commission Chairman at Karate Association of India. He is also the Head Coach at India’s leading martial arts institute – Sanshinkan MMA, Gurgaon. ENDS
