01/6Best beauty hacks of 2020
With 2020 coming to an end, we now wish to look back at how exceptional the year 2020 has been for all of us. Considering how most of the months were spent at home due to the COVID-19 pandemic, people went on an exploring spree with all things beauty while sitting in the comfort of their home. Here's looking back at the best beauty hacks that we all got to learn in 2020.
02/6Melt your pencil liner to make it glide
You all must know, creamy make-up products blend much better when they're warmed up. You can take any kohl eyeliner pencil and melt it down a little before you start lining your eyes for a smoother glide. Just hold the tip of the liner under the flame of a lighter for less than 3 seconds, let it cool a little and get on with it.
03/6Perfect smokey eyes with a hashtag
A smokey eye effect can go from sultry to sloppy if you don't get it right. To make it look fuss-free, use a creamy eyeliner to draw a slanted hashtag symbol on the outer third of your eyelid. Blend it out with the beauty sponge or a smudging brush. This will allow both your eyes to have a symmetrical look.
04/6Use a spoon as a mascara shield
Swiping on mascara and ruining the whole eye look is going to get on your nerves. To avoid this, hold a spoon close to your eyelid and apply your mascara the normal way without a worry. The residue will coat the back of the spoon rather than your skin on the eyes.
05/6Set your lip colour with a tissue and powder
If you want your lip colour to last for hours at a stretch, lay a tissue over your mouth, dust some translucent powder over the top to set the colour from bleeding or budging. The tissue will help protect the lip colour from dulling or lightening.
06/6Use a brush handle as a contour guide
To properly tell where you should dust on your bronzer or contour powder, roll a pencil or make-up brush handle right below your cheekbone and find the right angle for your face. Once you get the right angle, dust some bronzer right below it with a contouring brush and blend it in to soften it.
