Tengnoupal: Awareness programme held

Tengnoupal, December 13 2020: The Directorate of Civil Defence under the sponsorship of Relief and Disaster Management Department organised an awareness programme on COVID-19 and disaster management for ADC members/hill leaders/community leaders etc., at Kwatha Village, Tengnoupal, today.

The programme was coordinated by Civil Defence Junior Instructor, Luninglu Maringmei; Indian Red Cross Society, Master Trainer (First aid ), Dr Bankimchandra Thokchom as resource persons.

Demonstrations on giving first aid and CPR to people injured or in need of help during a natural disaster as well as on emergency treatment to persons bitten by a snake, dog etc, were shown.

The participants were also briefed on proper wearing of face masks and use of hand sanitizers.
