The hosts' camp continues to be hit with injury as fast bowler Sean Abbott will miss the first Test match between India and Australia. Abbott will not travel to Adelaide after picking up a calf strain in the day-night tour match at the SCG on Saturday.
Australia have also added Moises Henriques to the squad. The all-rounder was meant to play second Australia A tour match but a scan last Wednesday had revealed a low-grade hamstring strain which kept him out of the fixture.

However, the 33-year-old passed the fitness test on Monday and will be now joining the Australian squad in Adelaide three days out from the series opener.
Henriques is the newest addition to the squad, along with Victoria batter Marcus Harris earning a recall following the injury to David Warner.
Henriques will be the replacement for Will Pucovski, who was ruled out of the first Test after suffering from a concussion during the warm-up game. Pucovski was hit in the helmet by a bouncer by Indian pacer Kartik Tyagi.
Pucovski and Warner could, however, return in the Boxing Day Test in Melbourne, but their participation remains in doubt.
Injuries in the Australian squad:
Marcus Stoinis (side), Warner (adductor), Ashton Agar (calf and finger), Mitch Starc (back and ribs), Josh Hazlewood (back), Aaron Finch (glute), Henriques (hamstring), Pucovski (concussion), Cameron Green (concussion), Jackson Bird (calf), Harry Conway (concussion) and Abbott (calf) have entered the injury ward at some stage over the past month.
