PLDT Global, the international arm of Philippines operator PLDT, has teamed up with Japanese operator SoftBank to provide an internet services offering for small, medium, and large enterprise clients in Japan. Under the terms of the deal, PLDT Global will offer SoftBank’s ‘SmartInternet Suite Ether’ for business customers.
The SmartInternet Suite Ether is designed to allow businesses to access a customer portal that will help them manage and monitor their internet service and usage, apart from providing stable traffic and connection. According to PLDT, the service will also allow clients in Japan to directly connect with major telecommunications operators, ISPs, and content providers.
