Chandigarh: The GMCH-32 has started a dedicated clinic and OPD for post-Covid issues. The clinic will be set up at the medicine special clinic area, Level V, Block B. It will operate every Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm. Those are facing issues even after one month of recovery from Covid are eligible for visiting the clinic on an appointment basis. TNS
Withdraw house allotment: PUTA
Chandigarh: On the 24th day of the ongoing protest, the Panjab University Teachers’ Association (PUTA) executive issued a letter to the Panjab University Vice-Chancellor demanding the withdrawal of house allotment to former Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr Devinder Dhawan. The PUTA executive maintained that it would file a formal complaint to various vigilance agencies against this act of corruption by the Vice-Chancellor. Meanwhile, the PUTA executive continued its protest against the delay in CAS promotions. The protesting faculty members said they would continue the struggle to ensure that justice was done to all teachers who had been desperately waiting for their promotions. TNS
Tennis c’ship begins today
Chandigarh: The Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association (CLTA) will organise CLTA-AITA Championship Series (CS-3) U-16 Tennis Tournament for Boys and Girls from December 14 to 16. Players from Chandigarh, Punjab and Haryana will take part in the tournament. First and second round matches will be played at the CLTA Complex, Sector 10, on December 14. TNS
