HYDERABAD: A person who was travelling on a bike died after it was hit by a lorry from behind in Kukatpally on Saturday night.
Kukatpally police said that they came to know about the mishap after a motorist, on seeing the victim lying in pool of blood, contacted dial-100.
When the local patrolling team reached the spot, the victim was already dead.
During the investigation, police found that the lorry hit the bike from the rear side and the victim died.
The lorry went over the shoulder of the victim. A case was registered under Section 304-A (negligence causing death) of IPC. Police are on the lookout for the lorry driver. TNN
