ENGINEERS INDIA share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 79.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index is at 18,252 (up 2.1%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index today are ENGINEERS INDIA (up 5.1%) and LAKSHMI MACHINE (up 5.1%).

THERMAX (down 0.1%) and HAVELLS IND (down 0.1%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, ENGINEERS INDIA has moved down from Rs 101 to Rs 79, registering a loss of Rs 21 (down 21.3%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are L&T (up 4.8%), ONGC (up 4.3%) and ICICI BANK (up 2.0%). Other gainers include NTPC (up 2.0%) and TITAN (up 1.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ONGC and HDFC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 13,598 (up 0.4%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include ONGC (up 4.5%), CIPLA (up 4.5%) and L&T (up 4.4%). Other gainers include COAL INDIA (up 3.5%) and IOC (up 2.4%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 40,240 to 46,373, registering a gain of 6,133 points (up 15.01%).

ENGINEERS INDIA Financial Update...

ENGINEERS INDIA net profit down at Rs 481 million for the quarter ended June 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 1 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 47.5% to Rs 4.7 billion during the period as against Rs 8.9 billion in April-June 2019.

For the year ended March 2019, ENGINEERS INDIA reported 2.7% decrease in net profit to Rs 3.7 billion compared to net profit of Rs 3.8 billion during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 35.7% to Rs 25 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of ENGINEERS INDIA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 14.1x.
