Silver Jubilee of MTDS held

Imphal, December 13 2020: Silver Jubilee ceremony of the Manipur Tourism Development Society (MTDS) was held at Evento Lodge in Nepali Basti at Pangei yesterday.

P Surbala, pradhan of Waiton gram sabha and Y Iboyaima president of MTDS graced the occasion as the chief guest and president respectively.

Speaking on the occasion P Surbala said that the development of the tourism in the State is the need of the hour.

Manipur is blessed with scenic beauty in abundance and the fine hospitality of the people will help in developing tourism and attracting the tourists, she added.

She further stated that it is high time that the people of the State acknowledge the importance of MTDS (Manipur Tourism Development Society) and requested the Government to help the society and also assured that she will provide all possible help from her side.

Y Iboyaima stated that the corporation office of MTDS (Manipur Tourism Development Society) will be opened in Nepali Basti soon.
