Trouble seems to be mounting for actor Shia LaBeouf. We know that singer FKA Twigs has filed a legal lawsuit against him for sexual battery and domestic violence. She has said that her short relationship with Shia LaBeouf from 2018-19 was a 'relentlessly abusive one' to the New York Times. It seems the main case is about an assault that she faced when she was returning to Los Angeles from a trip to the desert. It seems Shia LaBeouf was driving at full speed and threatened to crash the car if she did not profess her love for him. The desert trip was also a violent one, and he allegedly choked her in the middle of the night. It seems FKA Twigs begged to be let out of the car. The Transformers actor pulled over at a gas station where the singer got out taking her baggage with her. Later, he followed her and beat her up, throwing her against the car. It seems he forced her back into the car. FKA Twigs, 32, whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett said, "I’d like to be able to raise awareness on the tactics that abusers use to control you and take away your agency." She has found support from singer, Sia who has said that Shia LaBeouf is a pathological liar. She tweeted that she was conned into a relationship with him. Sia warned women to stay safe from him. The actor's representative wrote an email to The New York Times where it was stated, "I have no excuses for my alcoholism or aggression, only rationalizations. I have been abusive to myself and everyone around me for years. I have a history of hurting the people closest to me. I’m ashamed of that history and am sorry to those I hurt. There is nothing else I can really say."
