5 AR officers of Manipur passed out from OTA, Bihar

Imphal, December 12 2020: In a proud moment for the State, 5 Assam Rifles officers of Manipur passed out from the Officers Training Academy, Gaya, Bihar on Saturday.

It is the first time in the history of Officers Training Academy, Gaya that 5 officers from Manipur have passed out.

The officers are listed as Ningthoujam Tomba, S/o Ibobi from Heirok part I, Heitupokpi area; Narayan Sangroula, S/o Dinanath Sangroula, Kanglatombi; Bicky Sharma, S/o Purna Lal Sharma from Charhajare,Kangpokpi; M Kenedy Maring,S/o Late Mangi from Khangsim village, Chandel and Seithong Haokip S/o Haogin Haokip from Kanan Veng, Churachandpur.

They were selected for the post of Assistant Commandant in Assam Rifle through Limited Departmental Competitive Examination 2020.Moreover, the passed out officer Ningthoujam Tomba from Heirok has also been awarded with overall First Order of Merit and got silver medal.

He was also the recipient of "Best Officer" in weapon training.

The passing out parade of the officers was held today at OTA, Gaya, Bihar.
