‘The Dirty Picture’ actor Arya Banerjee may have cut off her friends from the industry as she returned to Kolkata to stay alone, but her tragic death has left many of those friends in despair. One, among these friends, is actor Chandan Roy Sanyal, who regrets not being able to get in touch with her a few days before her demise. He took to Facebook to remember his dear friend, who loved feeding their group of friends with lovely food, the one with whom he used to spend many evenings and afternoons watching Woody Allen, Jean-Luc Godard films. He further reminisced about their strong bond and remembered how they used to be thick friends until she vanished around 2015 and kept herself in Kolkata. He further wrote, 'about five days back i thought of her and tried to reach out but couldn’t, last night she was found dead. Arya Banerjee i will miss you . I am jolted.' He concluded his note with this observation - 'Being in films is a lonely journey ....'
