Meanwhile, another official report from Nashik said that 318 fresh Covid-19 patients and six casualties were reported today, taking the district's tally of such cases to 1,05,114 and the death toll to 1,858, respectively.
On the other hand, 374 patients were discharged during the day across the district, taking the overall count of recoveries to 99,780.
There are now 3,476 active cases in the district, it added.

Specially-abled student from MIT ADT University wins National Bal Shree Award

Pune, Dec 12 ( UNI) MIT Art, Design and Technology University, Pune's Department of Fine Arts and Applied Arts student Joyon Mazumdar, 20, won the coveted National Bal Shree Award in creative art in the specially-abled category on November 25, the university announced on Saturday.
Mazumdar, who lost his right hand to amputation, paints with his left hand. He started drawing as a hobby in class V and now wants to make a career as an illustrator or a graphic designer.
