Haryana govt is constantly working for upliftment & dev of society:CM

Chandigarh, Dec 13 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said the State Government is constantly working for upliftment and development of the society.
He said new schemes are being formulated and these could be successfully implemented only with the active involvement of the society. The social institutions should always be in the forefront of assisting the government as only then, the motto of 'Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas' could be realized in a real manner, he added.

Mr Manohar Lal Khattar was addressing the people after laying the foundation stone of ‘Panchanad Sadan’ in district Fatehabad through video conferencing, here Sunday. On this occasion, he also announced to give financial assistance of Rs 11 lakh for the construction of Panchanad Sadan.

He said these types of buildings constructed by the social institutions always work towards uniting the society, where people from all sections of society come together. He said the government is efficiently discharging its responsibility be it in the field of education, providing health facilities to poor families or providing employment to youth of the state. He said the state government has decided to open Model Sanskriti Schools to bring about further improvement in the standard of education in the State. Apart from this, 1,000 playway schools are also being opened for the overall development of children right from the beginning.

He said along with education, skill also assumes a special significance in the life of a person. Keeping this in view, the State Government has established Shri Vishwakarma Skill University in Dudhola village of Palwal district which is the first-of-its-kind University in the country. The youth in this University are being imparted various types of skill training making them not only employable but also capable of becoming entrepreneurs.

Mr Khattar said the Government is committed to provide quality health care facilities to the poor families. The Ayushman Bharat scheme launched by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is a major step in this direction. He said the state government has also augmented all types of medical facilities in all its dispensaries, primary health centers, community health centers, hospitals and medical colleges. He said the State Government’s vision to open atleast one medical college in each district of the State is going to be realised soon. Apart from this, seats in medical colleges have been increased as a result of this; there would be no shortage of government doctors in the state in the times to come.

The Chief Minister said the State Government has started an ambitious programme ‘Parivar Pehchan Patra', under which the data of all families in the state is being collected. He said registration of 55 percent families has so far been completed. Those who have not registered yet have been asked to get their registration done at the earliest.
Mr Manohar Lal Khattar said besides the government, social institutions should also come forward and work towards the welfare of the society.
Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Mr. D.S. Dhesi was also present on this occasion here whereas, other dignitaries including Swami Dharmadev ji Maharaj from Faridabad, MLA, Thanesar, Mr. Subhash Sudha, MLA Fatehabad, Mr. Duda Ram, MLA Ratia, Mr. Lakshman Napa and District President of Panchanad Trust, Mr. Radha Krishan Narang joined through video conferencing.
