CHANDIGARH: The executive committee of newly formed Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (H-rera) Bar Association met justice Darshan Singh, chairman of Haryana Real Estate Appellate Tribunal (HREAT), Rajan Gupta (retired IAS), chairman of the rera Panchkula as well as with the members and other officials of the Authority.
The delegation of the bar was led by Kamal Jeet Dahiya, president, HARERA bar association which conveyed the common demands of the advocates, that was accepted by both the chairman HREAT and HRERA.
Sharing the details of the meeting, Dahiya informed that the authority agreed in principle to accommodate advocates and conduct cases in line with the Punjab and Haryana high court's holiday calendar.
He further stated that the bar members put forward the basic requirements of the advocates practicing at RERA and agreement in principle was reached on these issues as well.
Recently, the HRERA bar association was formed after its registration as a society under the Haryana Registration and Regulation of Society Act.
The newly elected members of the governing body include Kamal Jeet Dahiya as president, Dinesh Khurana as vice-president, Drupad Sangwan as general secretary, Navneet Kaur as joint secretary, Ranvijay Singh as treasurer, Randhir Singh and advocate Sunny Dhull as executive members.
