Pakistani actress Mahira Khan revealed that she has tested positive for coronavirus and is currently in isolation on social media on Sunday.
Mahira shared the news on her Instagram handle by posting a note, which reads, “I have tested positive for COVID-19. I'm isolating and have also informed all those who were in close contact with me over the last few days. It's been rough but it will be ok soon, InshAllah," Mahira Khan wrote.
She also urged people to wear a mask and follow all other safety guidelines “for your sake and others”.
“PS: Prayers and movie recommendations are more than welcome” the actor further said.
Mahira’s fans, friends from Pakistani television and film industry and Bollywood actress Mouni Roy and Tillotama Shome wished her speedy recovery in the comment section.
Mahira Khan, who is a prominent face in the Pakistani Television industry, has also appeared in Pakistani films such as ‘Bol’, ‘Bin Roye’, ‘Ho Mann Jahaan’, ‘Verna’ and ‘7 Din Mohabbat In’.
She made her big Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Rahul Dholkia’s period action thriller film ‘Raees’.
Mahira Khan was last seen in the film ‘Superstar’. Her next project is Pakistani action-drama titled ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’ which also features Fawad Khan, Hamza Ali Abbas and Humaima Malik in lead roles.
