Revoke transfer order, demands Committee

Imphal, December 12 2020: The Joint Committee on People's Welfare, Yairipok has urged the State Government and Health Department to revoke the transfer order of Dr Md Farid, MO (Obs & Gyn) at the earliest.

In a statement, the committee stated that transferring Dr Farid from CHC Yairipok to CHC Nungba is condemnable as he had joined the former health centre only on December 2, 2020 .

Recalling that they had highlighted the shortage of staff and lack of emergency service at CHC Yairipok a few months back, the committee further appealed to all concerned to revoke the transfer order of Dr Farid at the earliest.

The committee will launch intense agitation if the Government failed to pay heed to the demand.
