Belagavi district reports 9 fresh cases of COVID-19

Belagavi, Dec 13(UNI) Belagavi district registered 9 fresh cases of COVID-19 on Sunday.

This number is however, much lower that the number of cases that were being registered in the days gone by.

According to media bulletin, with these new cases the total number of positive cases has now gone up to 25,944 in the district till Sunday.





A total of 3,23,023 samples have been collected till Sunday, out of which 2,90,712 have tested negative and 25,944 tested positive for COVID-19, the bulletin said.

A total of 25,343 patients have so far recovered and have been discharged from the hospital and only 259 active cases remain in the district at present.

There have been 342 COVID fatalities in the district till Sunday and the reports of 4,572 samples is awaited.
