Cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu on Sunday slammed the NDA government, in a video message, 'for no resolution in the ongoing farmers' protest'.

Sharing a 2-minute clip on the microblogging website, Sidhu wrote: "Farmers are not seeking loan waiver nor subsidy, they are fighting for rightful Income and fair prices. Instead of fully implementing Swaminathan’s C2 Formula, govt is taking away their assured income. They promised to double farmers' income but gave 6000 Rs (500 Per Month) lollipop."

In the clip, Sidhu said: "The MSP for farmers has increased by 19 %, what's their mistake," adding "Are you joking by giving farmers Rs. 6,000."

"You will give Rs 450 a month to a farmer? He (farmer) should get Rs 1,000 a day."
