Sit-in demands arrest of 'rapist'

Sugnu, December 12 2020:
Regarding a case of child sexual abuse, a sit-in protest was staged yesterday at Tangjeng Khunou Terahoubi Bazar.
It is reported that a 5 years old child was sexually abused by one Oinam Nanao Meitei, S/o O Meipak Meitei of Tronglaobi Mamang Leikai, Bishnupur on December 4 last.
The protest demonstration was participated by volunteers of different clubs, organisations and meira paibi lups based in Tangjeng and its neighbouring localities.
The protesters urged the State Government to book the alleged 'rapist' at the earliest.
The protesters also resolved to form a Joint Action Committee to seek justice for
the child.
