Solomon Airlines schedules additional international cargo flights this month to meet Christmas demand

Solomon Airlines is scheduling additional Airbus A320 cargo flights between Brisbane and Honiara this month to meet Christmas demand for airfreight and to accelerate the movement of goods and supplies over the festive season.

The scaling up of cargo operations this month also takes into account anticipated requirements for the aircraft to operate further passenger repatriation flights.  The cargo flights are scheduled as follows:

Limited Passengers Inbound to Solomon Islands

Solomon Airlines also confirmed a very limited number of Solomon Islands Government approved foreign nationals will be travelling on these services.

Approved passengers will be responsible for paying for their own quarantine accommodation costs on arrival in Solomon Islands, must have been in Australia or New Zealand for at least 28 days before their departure, and provide two negative COVID-19 test results taken in the 14 days prior to departure.

As seating and availability is managed by the Solomon Islands Government, interested passengers are advised to contact their nearest Embassy or Mission for further information.

Outbound from Solomon Islands to Australia

Limited seats from Honiara to Brisbane are available for booking only to passengers who have right of entry to Australia or who will transit Australia within 8 hours of arrival.
