ADC Chandel candidate appeals to ease curfew

Moreh, December 12 2020: Autonomous District Council Chandel candidate for the 15 Moreh Constituency, Sonthang Mate (ST Mate) has appealed to the State Government to ease the curfew imposed at Moreh from 6 pm to 4 am for the coming Christmas festival.

He stated that the curfew imposed in the town is a good step to control the spread of COVID-19 .

However, considering the importance of Christmas festival for the Christians of Moreh town, he urged the State Government to ease the curfew in Moreh.

Sonthang Mate further urged the State Government to look after the street lamps that are not in working conditions in Moreh town.
