Arunachal records highest single day Covid recoveries at 424

Itanagar, Dec 12 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh on Friday registered the highest single day Covid recoveries as 424 patients were discharged across the state, taking the tally to 16163.

Out of the 424 discharged, highest patients were from Itanagar Capital Complex (ICC) at 406, followed by Changlang seven and Namsai four, as per the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services (DHS).

The recovery rate is around 98 percent.

State has also recorded 18 fresh cases of infections, taking the tally to 16497. Of the new positive cases, ICC reported six, Changlang and Anjaw three each, East Siang two, West Siang, Lower Dibang Valley, Siang and Pakke Kessang one each.

Total active cases stood at 279. Death toll at 55.
