Webinar on agri-tourism

Ludhiana, December 11

The Punjab Agricultural Management and Extension Training Institute (PAMETI) organised a webinar on “Agri-Tourism: Avenue for Revenue” today.

In all, 85 extension officials from the Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare and Allied Departments and ATMA staff registered for the webinar. Dr HS Dhaliwal, Director, PAMETI, while welcoming all participants, explained its need and importance.

Dr Manmeet Kaur, from the Department of Extension Education, PAU, enlightened the participants about current status of agri-tourism and its future prospects in the state and how it may help in increasing farmers’ income. — TNS
