Highly regarded, Christopher Nolan’s continued prominence as an auteur of cinema in Hollywood is no surprise. His films include 'Memento', 'The Dark Knight' trilogy, 'Interstellar', among many others. Now, as his film 'Tenet' hit theatres in India earlier this month, the filmmaker, in an interview with Bombay Times, among many other things, spoke about how he had approached the late Irrfan Khan for 'Interstellar'. When told that one of Irrfan's biggest regrets in life was not being able to work with him, Nolan said that he had indeed approached the actor for an important role in the 2014 sci-fi and was looking forward to working with the great actor but it didn't happen.
