Congress leader Rahul Gandhi attacked the central government and said that she wants the income of the farmers of the country to be as low as the farmers of Bihar. Gandhi cited media reports that the farmer in Punjab earns the highest in a year, while Bihar's farmers have the lowest income.
Rahul said that the farmer wants his income to be as much as the farmers of Punjab, but the Modi government wants the income of all farmers to be as much as the farmers of Bihar.
According to the report, Rahul Gandhi was referring to, an average farmer family in the country earns Rs 77,124 a year, while a Punjab farmer earns Rs 2,16,708 a year.
On the other hand, the annual income of a farmer family in Bihar is just Rs 42,684. Significantly, the Congress is an attacker against the government on new agricultural laws and is supporting the peasant movement.
