NBA 2020-21: The Jordan Brand has added two more NBA players to its family. Bradley Beal of the Washington Wizards and Caris LeVert of the Brooklyn Nets have signed endorsement contracts.
With just days ahead of the 2020-2021 NBA season, Beal and LeVert will be donning the Jumpman as their teams look to make noise in the East.
Both Beal and LeVert recall their Jordan memories as well as what it means to be a part of the brand as key athletes for the future of the sport both on and off the court.
Caris was patient off the court, too. A fan of MJ since his childhood, he loved Air Jordans but couldn’t always get them.
So, after arriving at the University of Michigan, Caris saved up and the first pair he bought was “Bred” Air Jordan XIs. And when he was drafted 20th overall in the 2012 NBA Draft, Caris splurged on growing his Air Jordan collection, picking up pairs he had previously missed out on.
“Not everyone gets to be a Jordan athlete, so that speaks to the type of people who are selected to be a part of this family. It started with MJ, who is the greatest player of all time. He set the standard for swagger and winning on the basketball court,” said Caris LeVert

Along with sports and work ethic, the Beal parents passed on a passion for style and sneakers. From a young age, all the Beal boys ever wanted to wear were Nikes and Air Jordans, and Bradley even has a photo of him wearing Air Jordan XI “Concords” as a baby.
“Oh man, I felt nothing but excitement and positivity. It’s a blessing and an honor to be a part of this family. It’s very exclusive. They take care of their athletes very well, and they do a great job of telling their stories. It’s a responsibility to represent the brand. I’m looking forward to this opportunity and being part of the family,” said Bradley Beal.
