4 Indian Women Feature In Forbes World’s 100 Most Powerful Women List

In the Forbes list of world's 100 most powerful women, Indian women from diverse domains too have made the mark. The 17th annual power list includes women from 30 nations and these were born across four generations.

But despite the differences, they have come united in the ways they have been dealing with the pandemic. The list has been topped by German Chancellor Angela Merkel for 10th consecutive time. Besides there are several state leaders whose efforts to combat Covid 19 situation cannot be ignored. As an illustration, Taiwan's President Tsai Ing-wen have taken on to contact tracing rigorously in January month and as a result only 7 deaths have been reported in the island inhabited by 23 million people.

17 newcomers have made their debut in the list highlighting women's endeavors in all aspects of a society. And the list features Indian women that include Nirmala Sitharaman, the country's Finance Minister who is positioned at 41st spot, Kiran Mazumdhar, Biocon's founder has also made it to the list. Also, Roshni Nadar Malhotra who leads an IT company is featuring on the list at 55th spot.

Besides, there is Landmark's Renuka who is on the 98th position.
