Twitter has teamed up with Snap to launch a new feature that enables Snapchat users to share tweets via the messaging app. The functionality allows iOS users to post tweets on stories, or send them as individual messages on Snapchat by selecting the corresponding icon at the bottom of the share menu. Once shared, the Snapchat message will link back to the tweet on Twitter where users can see the whole conversation, said Twitter.
The company added in subsequent tweets that it intends to roll out the feature for Android users in the near future and is testing it for Instagram users.
Separately, website TechCrunch reported that Snap is also teaming up with Spotify, Reddit, SoundCloud, Sendit, YOLO and GOAT to create integrations that allow content from those apps to be shared across Snapchat.
