Human Rights Day / prize distribution held

Senapati, December 10 2020: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Senapati organised the Human Rights Day cum prize distribution programme of the District Level Online Essay and Painting Competition at Sessions Court Complex, Senapati, today.

Samom Ibjen, chairman DLSA Senapati; Ashem Tarunakumari Devi, secretary DLSA; SP Thomas, president Senapati District Bar Association; Victoria, retainer lawyer DLSA, Senapati and other bar members of Senapati attended the event, said a statement of the DLSA, Senapati.

The programme was also attended by the staff of DLSA Senapati and PLVs of Senapati Legal Aid Clinic.

SP Thomas mentioned the importance of observing Human Rights Day and elaborated on the theme "Recover Better-Stand up for Human Rights", it added.

As a part of the programme, prizes along with certificates were also distributed to the winners and participants.

The winners of the District Level Online Essay and Painting Competition as per the release are as follows - Essay: Delphina Singlai, S Solomon, H Hiiveinai and consolation prizes to Senai Monica Ph and Kholi Rakuzhuro; Painting ( Class V-VIII): Hravei Blesson Pau, Maveo Kashipri, Athili Ashuni and consolation prize to Sazholou Joyful pau; and Painting (Class IX-XII) : A Mariiziio Phimu, Ringshang Phelamei and Khiuwangliu Ringkangmai.
