On the other hand, the BSE METAL has moved up from 9,497 to 11,233, registering a gain of 1,736 points (up 18.2%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are ONGC (up 9.1%), NTPC (up 4.7%) and TATA STEEL (up 2.0%). Other gainers include ITC (up 1.7%) and INDUSIND BANK (up 1.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ONGC and ITC.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 13,579 (up 0.6%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include ONGC (up 8.7%), GAIL (up 6.1%) and NTPC (up 4.4%). Other gainers include IOC (up 3.5%) and COAL INDIA (up 3.4%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 40,487 to 46,310, registering a gain of 5,823 points (up 14.22%).
SAIL net profit declined 734.3% YoY to Rs 27 billion for the quarter ended March 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 4 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 2.2% to Rs 161.7 billion during the period as against Rs 165.4 billion in January-March 2019.
For the year ended March 2020, SAIL reported 7.3% increase in net profit to Rs 27.0 billion compared to net profit of Rs 25.2 billion during FY19.
Revenue of the company grew 7.9% to Rs 617 billion during FY20.
The current Price to earnings ratio of SAIL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 12.0x.
