Over the last one year, MARICO has moved up from Rs 341 to Rs 412, registering a gain of Rs 71 (up 20.1%).
The BSE FMCG has moved up from 11,508 to 12,716, registering a gain of 1,208 points (up 10.1%) during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE FMCG Index stocks during this same period were ADVANCED ENZYME TECHNOLOGIES (up 117.1%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS (up 85.2%) and E.I.D. PARRY (up 66.3%).

The BSE Sensex is at 46,247 (up 0.6%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are ONGC (up 6.2%), SBI (up 1.9%) and NTPC (up 1.6%). Other gainers include TATA STEEL (up 1.5%) and BAJAJ FINANCE (up 1.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ONGC and SBI.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 13,562 (up 0.5%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include ONGC (up 6.2%), IOC (up 3.0%) and GAIL (up 2.5%). Other gainers include NTPC (up 2.3%) and SBI (up 1.9%).
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 40,487 to 46,247, registering a gain of 5,760 points (up 14.2%).
MARICO net profit down at Rs 3 billion for the quarter ended September 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 3 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 9.0% to Rs 19.9 billion during the period as against Rs 18.2 billion in July-September 2019.
For the year ended March 2018, MARICO reported 1.9% increase in net profit to Rs 8.3 billion compared to net profit of Rs 8.1 billion during FY17.
Revenue of the company grew 6.7% to Rs 63 billion during FY18.
The current Price to earnings ratio of MARICO, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 46.4x.
