PERSISTENT SYSTEMS share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 1,299.

Meanwhile, the BSE IT Index is at 22,875 (down 0.5%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE IT Index today is PERSISTENT SYSTEMS (up 5.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are ONGC (up 5.9%), NTPC (up 3.8%) and TATA STEEL (up 1.6%). Other gainers include ITC (up 1.4%) and BAJAJ AUTO (up 1.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ONGC and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 13,579 (down 0.1%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include ONGC (up 5.9%), GAIL (up 4.3%) and NTPC (up 3.9%). Other gainers include COAL INDIA (up 2.7%) and ITC (up 1.6%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 40,487 to 46,310, registering a gain of 5,823 points (up 13.41%).

PERSISTENT SYSTEMS Financial Update...

PERSISTENT SYSTEMS net profit stood at Rs 1 billion for the quarter ended September 2020, compared to a profit of Rs 879 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 9.2% to Rs 10.1 billion during the period as against Rs 9.2 billion in July-September 2019.

For the year ended March 2018, PERSISTENT SYSTEMS reported 3.3% increase in net profit to Rs 3.2 billion compared to net profit of Rs 3.1 billion during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 5.4% to Rs 30 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of PERSISTENT SYSTEMS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 28.6x.
