It says it all that Toyota will sell you a car that’s up to 12 years old and that’s covered up to 100,000 miles – few rivals would have the confidence to do that. Yet models that are under 2 years old and under 24,000 miles are covered by the more stringent Toyota Plus Direct scheme.
Toyota Plus Direct comes with 12 month breakdown cover, a three-year/67,000-mile warranty and a full check-over before you buy.
Normal Toyota approved used cars have the normal 12 months' warranty and breakdown cover and have to pass a technical inspection and refurbishment. You can buy on finance easily through Toyota.
