Royal Enfield has launched the new Meteor 350 in the European market.
The Meteor 350 is available in three variants - Fireball, Stellar and Supernova. On-road prices in the UK start at GBP 3,749 (approximately Rs. 3.67 lakh).
The Meteor 350 is based on a new twin downtube spine chassis. It features a round headlight with integrated LED daytime running lights. It comes with a semi-digital instrument cluster that has features such as Bluetooth and a 'Tripper screen' that displays turn-by-turn navigation.
The Meteor 350 is powered by a new 349cc, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine that produces 20.2 BHP @ 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm @ 4,000 rpm. The engine features an overhead camshaft instead of a pushrod and comes with a primary balancer shaft. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
The bike uses a 41 mm telescopic fork suspension at the front and has twin adjustable shock absorbers at the rear. It comes equipped with a 300 mm disc brake at the front and 270 mm disc at the rear. It has 19-inch and 17-inch alloy wheels at the front and rear respectively.
