Indosat Ooredoo has selected the Ericsson Digital Monetization Platform (DMP) to transform its business support systems (BSS), in order to provide customers with a digitised service. Ericsson's DMP will support Indosat Ooredoo's digital modernisation and boost its competitive edge by providing personalised product offerings to customers and by enabling monetisation of 5G, IoT and digital services for consumers and enterprises.
The DMP provides comprehensive support for charging, billing, order management and catalogue capabilities. Catalog Manager will supply Indosat Ooredoo Business-to-Consumer and Business-to-Business services with digitised lifecycle management. Order Care will provide consistent omnichannel product service to Indosat Ooredoo customers. Charging and billing will enable instant rating and monetisation of personalised plans.
The DMP includes open APIs and enables a micro-services architecture for speedy integration of new channels and services. It will enable business agility through DevOps for new services design, orchestration and monetisation.
In Indonesia, Indosat Ooredoo and Ericsson have a long-standing technology and services partnership covering 2G, 3G, 4G and more recently, live 5G trials.
