The Evil Dead franchise is getting a new game. Announced during The Game Awards, The Evil Dead: The Game is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC some time in 2021.
The Evil Dead: The Game is a co-op shooter that also features PvP. The announcement trailer showed off series protagonist Ash Williams facing hordes of Deadites alongside allies from throughout the series.
It will feature multiple maps from throughout the franchise, with the trailer especially showing off the iconic cabin that started the series. Players will have access to over two dozen weapons, including iconic ones like Ash's boomstick and chainsaw.
