MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Bong Go has provided aid to market vendors in Iloilo City.

“Magpalakas kayo ng katawan at resistensya. Sumunod rin kayo sa gobyerno. Gamitin niyo ang mga masks at face shields, mag-social distancing at maghugas ng kamay palagi dahil delikado pa ang panahon ngayon,” Go said during a video call.

A total of 2,597 vendors from the Arevalo, Iloilo, Jaro, La Paz and Mandurriao public markets are the identified beneficiaries in the distribution activity held at the Iloilo City Freedom Grandstand on Monday and Tuesday.

They were given packed meals, food packs, vitamins, medical-grade and reusable face masks and face shields.

Selected beneficiaries also received bicycles for their daily work commute and tablets so their children can participate in online classes.
