The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are ONGC (up 8.4%), NTPC (up 2.3%) and ITC (up 1.7%). Other gainers include SBI (up 1.6%) and L&T (up 1.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ONGC and SBI.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 13,564 (up 0.6%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include ONGC (up 8.2%), UPL (up 3.5%) and GAIL (up 3.5%). Other gainers include NTPC (up 2.7%) and IOC (up 2.1%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 40,487 to 46,247, registering a gain of 5,760 points (up 14.14%).
OIL INDIA net profit down at Rs 2 billion for the quarter ended June 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 4 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 40.9% to Rs 17.4 billion during the period as against Rs 29.5 billion in April-June 2019.
For the year ended March 2019, OIL INDIA reported 61.1% increase in net profit to Rs 31.1 billion compared to net profit of Rs 19.3 billion during FY18.
Revenue of the company grew 28.8% to Rs 138 billion during FY19.
The current Price to earnings ratio of OIL INDIA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 7.0x.
