More News10 Dec 2020 | 2:41 AMBhopal, Dec 9 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Bisahulal Singh expressed satisfaction on Wednesday over the fact that 7,54,861 metric tonnes of kharif yield have been acquired from peasants.
This comprises 5,39,008 MT paddy; 1,90,270 MT millet and 25,583 MT jowar. Until now, Rs 619 crore have been electronically disbursed to cultivators. As many as 1,552 procurement centres have been set up. A total 7,81,168 tillers registered for sale of crop. Till this juncture; 5,67,249 MT have been transported from centres to godowns, an official release said.
