HP: Hamirpur registers 41 new covid cases

Hamirpur (HP), Dec 10 (UNI) With the detection of 41 more cases, the total tally in the district surged to 2,414 including 327 active cases, CMO Archana Soni informed here on Thursday.
The total 41 cases found positive, it included 23 men and 18 women.
The CMO said that all the positive cases would be put under Home quarantine except those who would be seriously ill due to any disease.
As many as 34 persons have lost their lives so far and the number of cured cases stands at 2,053.
Meanwhile, SP, Hamirpur, Gokul Kartikeyan said that special teams have been set up in the district named "COVID CONTAINMENT TEAMS" for the enforcement of the guidelines of the government with regard to total persons at function places, social distancing and use of masks. All persons are to be registered as per the guidelines of the government.
He said that the teams from different Police stations visited a total of 276 registered functions. The teams made visits in uniform and surprise visits in plain clothes as well to check the compliance of the guidelines.
A total of Rs 9000 have been imposed in the last 3 days for violation of guidelines. Further, 130 notices have been served as a measure of warning to the persons not abiding by the rules, the SP added.
