Vijay's 'Thalapathy 65' officially announced; to be directed by Nelson Dilipkumar

Tamil superstar Vijay's forthcoming film has finally been announced. Tentatively titled Thalapathy 65, the film is set to be directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. Sun Pictures who is backing the project shared an interesting video on their social media pages to officially announce the film. The music for the film will be composed by none other than Anirudh Ravichander while the rest of the cast is yet to be announced. 

In the video shared by Sun Pictures, Vijay is seen walking inside the Sun Pictures office with all smiles while making his way. The video also has the motion poster of Thalapathy 65 with guns blazing all around. Sun Pictures captioned the video on Twitter stating, "We are happy to announce Thalapathy @actorvijay’s #Thalapathy65bySunPictures directed by @nelsondilpkumar and music by @anirudhofficial #Thalapathy65."

Even Nelson shared the update on his Twitter page by writing, "Happy to announce my next film with @actorvijay sir. @sunpictures @anirudhofficial @Jagadishbliss #Thalapathy65."

Meanwhile, Vijay was last seen in Bigil playing a dual role and is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film titled Master. The movie has been pushed to 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic. The film teaser made the fans impatient and now they can't wait to witness the magic on the big screen. 

Master also stars Vijay Sethupathi with Malavika Mohanan, Arjun Das, Andrea Jeremiah and Shanthanu Bhagyaraj n pivotal roles. The film is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Xavier Britto, under the banner XB Film Creators.
