WWE: Goldberg makes bold statement, says “Roman Reigns is next”

Goldberg appeared on WWE’s The Bump this week ahead of the release of WWE Untold: Goldberg’s Streak – and made it clear he’s coming for Roman Reigns.

The former WWE Universal Champion was originally set to defend the title against current champion Reigns at WrestleMania, before The Big Dog was replaced by Braun Strowman. Since then, Reigns has returned to WWE television, interjecting himself back into the title picture at SummerSlam as he delivered Spears to both Strowman and The Fiend to end the show.

On this week’s The Bump, Kayla Braxton would ask Goldberg whether there’s “unfinished business” between he and Roman Reigns, to which Goldberg would deliver a scathing response.

“Oh, I would say that is one of the most mild understatements I have ever heard. He backed out out on me at WrestleMania, he stole my move, God knows how long ago, and he continues to perform it at subpar level. Let’s be perfectly honest, I’m the dude that delivers the spear and I don’t think that he understands what it’s like until I deliver it to him. So, Roman, it’s coming and I’m coming for you. I may be old, I may be grey, but I’m still Goldberg.”

Goldberg would end his appearance on the show by simply saying, “Who’s next? Roman’s next.”
