Karnataka reports 1,238 new COVID cases

Karnataka reports 1,238 new COVID cases

Bengaluru, Dec 10 (UNI) With the detection of 1,238 new COVID-19 cases, the total tally in the state surged to 8,97,801, official sources said here.

The state also witnessed 12 more deaths in the last 24 hours, surging the death toll to 11,912.



Sources also informed that on Thursday, a high number of 5076 COVID-19 patients, got discharged from various

hospitals, after being completely cured from the disease.

The number of people who had undergone COVID-19 tests on Thursday accounted for 84,270 including that of 15,514 of the Rapid Antigen Rapid Detection tests.

The sources said that while there are still 19,206 active cases in the state, the number of patients admitted in ICU accounted for 258 on Thursday.
