Global teacher award winner Ranjit Singh Dislay infected with Coronavirus

Maharashtra school teacher Ranjitsinh Display, who was recently awarded the prestigious Global Teacher Award, was confirmed to be infected with the coronavirus on Wednesday.

The display received the prestigious Global Teacher Award last week. Under this, he received one million dollars. On Wednesday night, he tweeted that I and my wife have been infected with the coronavirus. We are following medical advice and are isolated at home.

Recently Ranjit Singh Dissle, a teacher at a government school in Solapur, Maharashtra, was awarded the Global Teacher Award. His selection was announced by actor Stephen Fry at an online ceremony in London.

For the first time, an Indian teacher has received this award. The award given by UNESCO and London's Warkey Foundation will give them Rs 7 crore. Disley has been chosen from over 12 thousand teachers from 140 countries around the world.

The display took the initiative to introduce QR codes in books for the first time using state-of-the-art technology. He has created QR codes for every text and poem.

Not only this, in the year 2017, it was proposed to the Maharashtra government that all the syllabus be added to it. After this, this talk of Display first took place at the experimental level and after that, the state government announced that it would introduce QR code textbooks in the state for all categories.
