Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been showing the new journey of Kartik and Naira in Mumbai. In this new journey, we saw the entry of a new person who is connected to their son, Kairav. Kartik and Naira stay separately in Mumbai as Kairav is scared of his mother and hates her. He feels that she might hand him to the police for pushing his brother, Vansh in the past. Kairav is mentally affected and hence he is being treated by a counsellor, Dr. Riddhima. Dil Dosti Dance fame Vrushika Mehta has joined the cast of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlat Hai as Dr. Riddhima. In a very short span, she has bonded well with her co-stars Mohsin Khan, Shivangi Joshi and Aarambh Tehran Sehgal. However, her bond with Shivangi Joshi is special and the ladies are fond of dancing. For the unversed, both, Vrushika Mehta and Shivangi Joshi are trained dancers.
