HP registers 773 new COVID-19 cases, 8 deaths

Shimla, Dec 10 (UNI) With the detection of 773 new COVID-19 cases, the total tally in the state surged to 47,703, Nodal officer and Secretary Health Mr Amitav Awasthi said here on Thursday.

Mr Awasthi said that among 773 tested positive, includes 220 from Mandi, 142 from Shimla, 127 from Kangra, 90 from Bilalspur 53 from Kullu, 34 from Una, 27 from Solan, 24 in Chamba 21 from Kinnuar 20 from Hamirpur and 15 from Sirmaur.

Death toll rose to 763, as the state witnessed 8 more covid related deaths including two each from Shimla and Solan and one each from Chamba, Una, Hamirpur and Mandi.

Total caseload now stands at 47,703 the state including 7,865 and recovered person stands at 39,031.
